The workshop is a one-day, hands-on program introducing youth (ages 11-14) to the fundamentals of wildlife rehabilitation.  Participants will get a behind-the-scenes look at how injured and orphaned birds and reptiles are assessed and cared for.

Students learn the basics of patient intake, safety, and wildlife first aid, then rotate through supervised skill-building stations that simulate real rehabilitation tasks — such as practicing fluid administration techniques, reviewing radiographs, and learning wing support methods. The day concludes with an interactive introduction to live educational birds, highlighting the adaptations and conservation needs of raptors and songbirds.

This immersive workshop builds awareness of responsible wildlife response, fosters respect for native species, and inspires interest in veterinary and conservation careers.”

Only 12 spaces are available.  Registration required.
