Something WILD is coming to Arkabutla Lake!

Join Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation for our 7th Annual Trunk-or-Treat on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1–4 PM at the Dub Patton Recreation Area at Arkabutla Lake! This FREE, family-friendly community event brings together Halloween fun, wildlife, costumes, candy, great food, and some very special guests! 

🦉 Halloween Fun Meets WILDLIFE!

Mississippi Wildlife Rehabilitation will be there with our incredible animal ambassadors, including OWLS, HAWKS, and REPTILES! Meet some amazing animals up close while learning about the native wildlife that calls Mississippi home.

 Prizes will be awarded for BEST COSTUME and BEST TRUNK!

Whether you’re dressing up the kids, yourself, or decorating a trunk, bring your Halloween A-game. Get creative and you could go home a WINNER! 🎃👻🚗

Want to get your business or organization in front of thousands of local families while supporting a great community event? There is NO fee to participate as a trunk!

Decorate your vehicle with a fun, kid-friendly theme, bring plenty of candy and non-candy goodies, and join the fun. We’re preparing for more than 2,000 participants, so bring LOTS of treats!
